Ok...Time for a little contest! I had a request for custom sized pillows; however, the customer never followed through with payment. They are off white microvelvet, and a little smaller than my average pillows. The fabric that I used for them is now discontinued and I can't order anymore. These pillows value at $84 per set in my Etsy shop! Rather than listing them (which will bring TONS of re...quests for more pillows in that fabric) I am going to open a raffle for this set! Thought I should give a little update...The holidays were hectic, trying to fill all of the orders I had through October and November; However, with the New Year, Mills Design Co. is making some changes. In 2011 I accepted custom orders for any color or fabric requested. That became a bit overwhelming, trying to find a specific color/fabric/texture...So I will be making all of my pillows of Cre...pe Satin from now on, and I have more than 30 colors to choose from. The fabric is beautiful and high quality. It's a thick satin that's reversible and looks great with either the sheen side, or the matte side. The fuschia pillows above were made of crepe satin- matte side out. I'm posting a color chart for you all to see all of the colors available now. Sorry...

I know...it's been months, literally.  No excuses.  But here I am, and excited to say that I am planning my next Mills Design Co. photoshoot!  Saturday at 1:00, here in Morristown at Rose Center.  It's looking like we should have quite a turnout, so if any of my local followers are interested in attending, please contact me!

So...I must say, I have been EXTREMELY busy!  My hubby and I just bought a house, so I've been working my rear off painting, painting, and painting some more.  Figured I would share some photos, but please overlook the light fixtures from 1992...haven't had a chance to replace those yet!

 

This is what happens when an Interior Design major buys a house...it takes MONTHS to get it finished before it's in livable condition!  I don't know how many times I have changed my mind...

Hmmm.....What else?  OH!  I did make it to a few estate sales last month before the weather started getting cool!  I came across some GREAT costume jewelry...here are a few photos:

Thursday...

I keep thinking it's Friday, but OOOH NO...It's Thursday.  We just got back from a 4 day trip to Nashville, where my hubby saw some great doctors and things are looking up for him!  We got to see the sights and eat some great food, and boy did I get some amazing photos!  So, that's what's been going on with us!  I am now working and working, trying to get caught up!

Aside from that, I am in the process of organizing a photoshoot that I am hosting on Saturday!  This is my first one with more than one person at a time, and I am super excited!  We are expecting about 15 volunteers to help model my handmade, upcycled, and vintage clothing.  Below are some examples of my handmade, vintage inspired clothing- made to order.  Be sure to watch for photos of my photoshoot next week!
